ATTENTION TRIBAL MEMBERS:
NOTICE ABOUT SHOWING UP LATE TO AN APPOINTMENT
In the past there has been a 10 minute late window for patients with scheduled appointments at the Bay Mills Medical Clinic. This would allow a patient to be late for their appointment without having to reschedule as long as they were not 10 minutes or more late. Unfortunately, this has been taken advantage of and has significantly affected the efficiency and quality of patient care, especially for the patients that show up at their scheduled time.
The Bay Mills Medical Clinic is no longer going to allot a 10 minute late window. Patients are now requested to show up 10 minutes prior to their scheduled time to allow time for updating paperwork and checking in. While there may be extenuating circumstances, there is also not much leeway, so patients that are late need to be prepared to reschedule.
