The Haskell Service Unit is a located within the college community of Lawrence, Kansas. The service unit consists of one ambulatory clinic, the Haskell Health Center. The facility opened in 1978 and is located on two acres at the edge of Haskell Indian Nations University. Our patient population reflects a rich diversity of Native American cultures from across the United States. In 2009, there were 34,018 outpatient visits to the facility.
The Haskell Health Center is staffed by two physicians and one part-time pediatrician. In addition to Family Medicine, services include: Dental, Optometry, Behavioral Health, Health Promotion Disease Prevention, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Nutrition, and Contract Care. Appointments are recommended, as walk-in availability is limited.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.
to 5 p.m. and Wednesday 8 a.m. to 12 noon (Administrative Hours: 1 - 5 p.m.)
