Redding Rancheria IHS
The Redding Rancheria Indian Health Clinic is a health facility providing many services to the
Native American population and their families who reside in the western two-thirds of Shasta County and all of Trinity County. This site outlines the services that are available through the Redding Rancheria Indian Health Clinic.
Eligibility and Registration
Eligibility for services is determined by the Intake / Registration staff. You must be registered before you can be seen by Redding Rancheria Indian Health Clinic Service Providers. Certain documents such as Indian verification, birth certificates, insurance and
Medi-Cal cards will be needed to complete the registration process.

Contract Health Services
Contract Health Services (CHS) funds are used to provide services that are not available at the clinic. Eligibility follows the Redding Rancheria Indian Health Services guidelines based on federal regulations and is limited to those eligible California Indians who reside within the defined geographic service area. Eligibility is determined at time of intake The Redding Rancheria Indian Health Services Medical Clinic provides friendly primary care to all age groups of the native american population.
We provide full spectrum family care:
Patients are scheduled by appointment, Monday through Friday.
Outreach Services
The outreach staff works closely with the clinic, families, individuals and community services to promote health and
preventive disease and injury by visiting patients in their homes and providing basic health assessments. This is accomplished by working together with all health professionals who serve the patient in the clinic setting.
Emphasis is placed upon the needs of the elderly, the home bound and those patients referred to this service by the health care
providers.

- Newborn, children, CHDP and well-child care
- Immunizations for all ages
- Women's health care
- Women's family planning, including IUD's
- Office Surgery
- Podiatry
- Musculoskeletal manipulation and adjustments
- Acupuncture
- Lab Work
